What's this Fading Suns thing?
It's a role-playing game from Holistic Design Incorporated. It's a science fantasy game that has been described as "the Renaissance in space." For more information go here.

I'm stilll confused.
For more information (and a wonderfully comprehensive FAQ for both newbies and veterans alike), go here for a superbly well-done and extensive Fading Suns FAQ. Unfortunately, it's only available in .pdf format at present.

Just what is the End Times?
This is a fan-zine supporting the game, a place where fans can write up stuff and send it in to be posted and read by other fans. We even get to pretend like this is being published. Hopefully we can continue with the monthy-update schedule we are planning on.

So how do I get in on the action?
If you want to get involved, you can send your submissions or questions to submissions@theendtimes.8m.com with "[the End Times]" in the subject. Submission guidelines will be posted shortly.

This white-text-on-black format is really annoying. How do I get it to print?
You have 2 options. First, you could (at least in Netscape) go to Edit > Preferences > Colors and choose a black-text-on-white color scheme. Second, you can change the way Netscape will print by going to File > Page Setup and choosing "Black Text" and "Black Lines" from the choices there. That will make Netscape print everything in text as black-on-white.

Alright, I can't take it anymore, why the hell do you have a column called "Sci-Fi Wasabi?"
Well that's easy enough. Wasabi is a really spicy Japanese condiment. Pardon the pun, but the goal of the column is to "spice up" your campaign with some real science. And it's a fun Cibo Matto song.

  • Derek "Kintaro Oe" Guder - the webmaster and contributer for The End Times, Derek plans on becoming the first athiest Pope after a long stint as the most beloved (and youngest) President of the United States in history. At the moment however, he lives in Boston working in computer technical support. His more exciting Secret Identity enjoys working as a playtester and freelance writer for Eden Studios and writing enough reviews to choke a void kraken, which can be found at RPGnet, RPG Action and RPG Shop. He also writes a column on smaller and lesser known games called Little People for RPG Action and enjoys playtesting for Dream Pod 9 and Third Millennium Games as well.. Derek wishes he had a cat.
  • Charlie "Darshu" Payne - A Freelance Writer and Artist, I contribute to The End Times as well as work on other projects. Between Gameing, I write for several small Anime Zines, as a writer for a small online comic, and host my own fan fiction webpage devoted to RPG Game Fan Fics. I am currently devoteing a majority of my time to developing a Fantasy RPG.
  • Jonas Gabrielson, MS, editor and regular contributor to The End Times. I'm a veteran roleplayer, freelance AD, and virologist (in that magnitude). I'm also a member of the Upsala Tolkien Society and editor of their membership magazine. For dessert, I like peaches and cream.
